I think I've been to this place just way too many times now xD And I try to test different things every time i go there and this time i ordered Creamy Potato Wedges as an appetizer I believe everyone should at least try them once they are just amazing with all their creamy sauce and I also believe that they use the same sauce in Fajita Nachos and Crispy Chicken too and its pretty tasty and enough for two people.Then for the main course i ordered a  Salsa Rosa Pizza i heard just way too much about it and just had to try it. With  the perfect amount of cheese, chicken, olives and amazingly well cooked Italian crust it hands down is the best pizza I've ever had!!!!! A very cooperative staff and the decor is also amazing. they have outdoor seating on the terrace as well, they've made it look like a small garden it's very pretty and i always Always outside on the terrace , a calm place to enjoy a meal!

If you have not tried this place yet , you should you would not be disappointed at all !! (highly recommended)

Burning Brownie

This place is an absolute treat <3 It actually is the best place to satisfy your dessert cravings ;) As they have wide range of variety of desserts for you to choose from. Moreover this is a very relaxing  place to sit and enjoy.We tried their cheesecake, caramel coffee crunch and chocolate fudge cake with latte ! I personally am not a fan of the cheese cake but it does have a good taste and is soft and has a silky texture, presented with the strawberry sauce which gives an extra nice flavor to the cheesecake.I personally find it very heavy but according to the rest of the world it's very light and flavor full. Next, the Caramel coffee crunch,it was nice with a thin chocolate sponge layer, coffee flavor with little caramel balls on top and on the inside. The flavor was a bit too strong for me as I don’t enjoy strong coffee flavors in desserts, but over all it was nice.And now, the Chocolate fudge cake (my absolute favorite), which is a cake layered and topped with chocolate fudge.This cake is super  rich and deliciously moist, served warm with vanilla ice cream (a lot of ice-cream ;)) The coffee was absolutely amazing too just as we liked it!

It's a little pricey but truly worth the money !!!

Burning brownie is a must visit place, if you're in Islamabad.

Cannoli by Cafe Soul

Guys have you tried the spicy grilled chicken Panini by Cannoli by café soul? If you haven’t then you should try it out once. The taste of the freshly grilled chicken with herbs is amazing. I love this Panini because it is served with melted mozzarella and jalapenos which makes the taste even more delicious. The price of this Panini is rps 550. It is served with crispy jumpo fries and the fizzy drink of your own choice. Apart from food, the café is located at Beverley center in Islamabad. The café itself is small and has a French décor which makes the ambiance dreamy and it looks like you are in Paris. I’m not exaggerating, give it a try guys you’ll get the feels haha! Their menu covers variety of spicy dishes and desserts. If you are looking for a cute place to dine out with your loved ones, I would highly recommend all of you to visit this place. I’m sure you’ll leave with a lot of cheerful memories.

Secret Sky

Secret Sky a place for those people who look for a calm and a pocket friendly place to go to. It's an open air cafe with more than just chai and fries to it ;) We ordered jalapeno cheese balls as a starter which were really crunchy and yummy and for the main course we ordered the Alfredo pasta and since we're a big pasta fan and are very particular about it and for us they absolutely nailed it!! We also tried their secret star burger which was really saucy with  double patty chicken served with fries , really really tasty! We even tried their Korean fried wings but they had a very sweet sauce with it so didn't really like it but the overall experience was absolutely amazing!! It's even more amazing in the winters as their is a big fire pot in the middle and a place around it for people to sit and usually have an open mic going on about every other day. I highly highly recommend this place!!

the food, the service, the ambiance everything was a 10/10 for me :)

p.s. this place gives out such amazing vibes with all those lighting and decor!

Kabul Restaurant

Kabul Restaurant is one of the oldest family restaurants in Islamabad, for as long as I can remember it has been the go  to spot for beef tikkas for many families of Islamabad. Their kebabs and tikkas are some what part of a meat heaven we all want to be a part of, Their Kabuli pulao is also not to be underestimated for all the rice lovers out there, with a huge chunk of tender beef, raisins and caramelized carrots, it is nothing short of mouth watering. Their Garam Garam Naans with their signature kofta daal and Afghani chutni are just alone worth the visit. They have the most tender, juicy and tasty tikka's in town!!!! 

Taste : 9/10

Price : 580 per dozen

Service :  7.5/10

Ambiance : 6.5/10 (the food does compensate for the lack of ambiance ;)

Cafe Rustic

Cafe Rustic is a very cosy place with an open kitchen. As per them, their food is 100% organic and healthiest of all, probably the reason of the high prices?!We tried their Classic Beef Burger, Chicken burger and Tomahawk Steak! Coming to the tastes , remember when we heard about pineapples in a pizza we were shocked and nobody really liked it this time it's pineapple in a burger .WHAT?! i know rightt at first we thought of not even considering it but try tou karna banta ha? (what worse could it get?) too curious.....haha ! We don't know what made them thought of making something like this but the mix of spices in the marination on the chicken and the sauces somehow went so well together and it did complement the burger. (THEY'RE OPTIONAL GUYS) you can ask them to not add pineapples if you don't like them okay?! xD The patty was really juicy and had a mouthwatering taste.

Their fries were made from sweet potatoes another shocker? yess!! it was a very veryy different experience for us and they were really good!! The Tomahawk Steak we tried was cooked very differently and was served with prawns. Amazing presentation though!In the end we were served with the Hunza Green tea which felt like the cherry on top as it was needed after all that food xD The staff there was very well trained and surely knew how to make and keep customers ;)

Ginyaki

A Chinese lover and still haven't tried Ginyaki ? You are definitely missing out on something really really good my friend! A place that serves your cravings just right. I have almost tried their entire menu and their BEEF CHILLI DRY is my favorite because its just amazingly delicious and as nowadays you can't eat more chicken for obvious reasons....so dear friends this is the THING!! it's sweet and sour taste makes it just amazingg!! The best part here at Ginyaki is  that you get to choose/ make your bowl for your self according to your preferences like if you want to have rice alone or chowmein with chicken or maybe beef it's all up to you to decide, you can even have rice and chowmein together(combo) ! isn't it amazing ?? Additional to their mouthwatering taste and economical prices they have indoor  and outdoor sitting with classy interior with a very aesthetic decor.

There's just one thing to it that it's always crowded like ALWAYS, they should try to expand the sitting area to make more room for more people.

Ranchers

Ranchers is located in the middle of the  twin cities and offers the best affordable and unique burgers, their names all based on the wild west have a catchy twist, like the big Ben which is a humongous double patty fried chicken burger with spicy mayonnaise. Their grill burgers also come with amazing sauces. Their prices are a good value of money. They also come up with unique ideas from time to time like frizza , which is basically a fries based pizza and it is pretty mouth watering. They usually come up with ridiculous deals, like the 1 rupee burger on labors day 2019. All in all Ranchers has good burgers and a unique wild west ambiance much like howdys, it is worth a visit with one of its branch in I-8 and one is Rawalpindi.

Savour Foods

Savour foods is the best pulao in town, when you are feeling like you can devour a horse but can't afford to, don't worry! Savour has your back, economical and best value for money all the whole being hygienic enough for all the burgers too! Their Pulao consists of a perfect balance of spices, they give you two soft and delicious Shami kebabs with the Pulao, you can choose which chicken piece you want and how much you want.Actually they have a pretty good fried chicken burger and fries too for all the burgers out there. Their chicken broast is no less in comparison either though.It is one of the oldest places in town, we have all heard how it started from a road side stall, many of us have been having it since childhood and can't get over it.

To sum it up, if you haven't been there, you should definitely give it a try, it's a experience on it's on dining it at Savour.

Pizza Originale

Craving for pizza? Try the combination of two pizzas in one, how about that. I’m so glad that I can enjoy the finest taste of pizza in my housing. Pizza Originale recently opened in Chakala Scheme 3 Rawalpindi, near Tehzeeb bakery. They offer various flavours like turkey bacon, eggs and cheese, chicken and tomatoes, Quattro Formaggi, pepperoni, chicken and spinach and a lot more. They are covering a major gap in the pizza industry by serving variety of flavors which others fail deliver and meet the customer requirements. The pizza I ordered was the exciting combo of two flavors; chicken with jalapeno and roasted garlic with white sauce sounds amazing right. This amazing offer makes it really convenient and budget friendly where one can enjoy two flavors at the cost of one pizza only. The average cost varies from rps 450 to rps 900. I love this place, the quality and service is pretty good too.

Chak 51

Chak 51 is a multi-level desi restaurant located in Bahria Town Phase 3, Rawalpindi. It has multiple themed areas. The unique aspect of this restaurant is that it not only serves Desi, but also Chinese & Continental food. The huge restaurant has a seating capacity of 300 plus people with multiple indoor and outdoor seating options. The ambiance of Chak 51 is very pleasing; its design gives people a complete experience of a small village. The restaurant is decorated with colorful windows, clay pot lights, dholki chandeliers, colorful kites on the ceiling with hundreds of colorful glass bangles and more. 

If that's not enough to compel you to visit this place, then lets talk about the food. The restaurant serves variety of options like chicken finger, stuffed chilli, prawns, grilled burgers, chicken parmesan, moroccan chicken, pepper steak, chicken handi, roghni naan and a lot more. So the dish I ordered was Chak 51 special steak which was grilled marinated beef steak topped with chilli pepper and bbq sauce, served with veggies and mashed potatoes, and needless to say it was one of the best steaks I have had. Tryout this place I’m sure you guys will love it as this place fills you with cheerful memories with your loved ones, and yes, the food here is GREAT!

Chikachino

Chikachino is a 24/7 open café. It is located in the Jinnah Super Market. Chikachino offers an open-air, roadside experience, which is ideal for family evenings, chit chats and unplanned hangouts with friends. The ambiance is lovely, the atmosphere is ideal for autumn and winter evenings. This place is quite popular and is always heavily crowded. 

Their menu covers all sorts of snacks including Paapri Chaat, Ras Gullay, Dahi Bhalle, Bhel Puri , Gol Gappay, Samosas etc. Paapri Chaat is my absolute favorite. It has the perfect balance of salt and spice. They serve it with a special imli and alu-bukhara chutney. On average, it costs about 400 to 500 rupees per person to snack at Chikachino. Though the open-air setting is perfect for a relaxing evening, it’s not the best place for adverse weather conditions. If you are looking for a private dinner with your significant other, Chikachino won’t work for you, and you definitely don’t want to visit if you mind smokers. But I would highly recommend you guys to visit this place if you love to sit in an open air setting.

Philly Cheese Omelette

This is called the Philly cheese omelette, it's served with hash browns, grilled tomato and Bread of your choosing, it's the complete breakfast as it has beef chunks and very philly cheese in it. Ambiance of the restaurant is considerable as it is neat and cozy inside. If weather allows the courtyard is fabulously fantastic especially on a cloudy morning in summers.This is the Wholewheat Pasta which is cooked in full fat cream cheese with semi-skimmed milk served with tomatoes & cream sauce with a pinch of salt and pepper. Chicken steaks are garnished on top of the pasta, cooked in soybean oil served with garden fresh vegetables like parsley, carrots, mashed potatoes and celery.

Hit me Skillet cake

This exquisite chocolate heaven is served at Street 1, under the name “Hit me Skillet”. This dessert is not only a treat to the eyes but a perfect blend of Belgian chocolate and ice-cream topped off with sizzling chocolate and nuts! Served on a skillet which makes that poured chocolate sizzle. A little over priced for a single serving but it’s pretty filling.The hit me Cake possibly named this because every bite is an extremely flavorful hit to your taste buds. This exquisite is desert is a must try for those with a sweet tooth and a death wish.

Pait Pooja

Pait Pooja's sehri is both cheap and extremely  fullfillng, their lachadar parhatay is something we look forward to in our sehris, their lassi is also very refreshing, as it is the real traditional lassi you would find at your home, frothy and just the right amount of sweet. This place located in the basement of a plaza in G-11 hidden from mainstream eyes in a real find for all the food lovers out there.

Mama's Icecream

You can find homemade ice cream by Mama’s outside most D-Watson and Shaheen Chemists. People love to eat mama’s ice-cream because they serve variety of flavors not just simple vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. The most popular flavours are Vanilla Kit Kat, Chocolate Kit Kat and Cookies and cream. Mama’s ice-cream tends to be more icy and less creamy in texture. Another good thing about mama’s ice-cream is that it offers sugar free flavours for people with diabetes as many ice cream chains fails to cater people with such disease; but Mama’s has got it covered and they offer sugar free ice cream aimed at diabetics and the health conscious population. So if you’re someone who loves ice cream and wants to eat something that does not include dairy, definitely give this a shot. You'll love it. I know I do. ;)

Rewayat

Today’s review is about the famous mix platter by Rewayat. As the name suggests, Rewayat serves desi food. It has various branches in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The taste is spectacular and as a desi food lover I always prefer to order food from this place. The best thing is they also provide home delivery services which is so convenient. Their prices vary starting from rps 300 to rps 1000, depending on the amount of food one orders. They give the option to order platters in which they serve different dishes like malai boti, chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, biryani, pulao, chicken shashlik, mutton, with roghni naan and chapaati. If you want to have some yummy desi food do try this place out guys. I’m sure you’ll love it.

Funky Pop

So it turned out that funky pop is one of the underrated places in Islamabad because I heard mixed reviews about them and I wasn’t sure if it’s good or not. So recently I got a chance to try these on Islamabad Eat.I had Belgian Brownie and Cookies n Creams. I wanted to eat all of them as names sounded really cool but I took only one friend along so I had only two! 

Coming to the taste, I thought they would be some watery ice lollies but NOO! They were quite good, it was more like some different frozen dessert than ice cream! I found both equally good and tasty and couldn’t decide which one is better! Cookies n cream has more milky flavor than Belgian Brownie!You guys need to try these both!P.s they are for Rs. 220 only each, prices were different.🙈I see people complaining what’s so special about them, but I mean it’s just for Rs.220 and if you enjoy every bite and want to have it again then why not?

Chatta’s

Review time: So when talking about food Chatta’s serve one of the best desi cuisine. Their Shahi thaali has mutton cheema, boneless chicken, aloo bhujiya, chaana & palak paneer. All of this is cooked in desi ghee. Have this scrumptious meal with roghni naan & meethi lassi…..YUMMY!

Habibi Restaurant

My family wanted a BBQ treat so we decided to go to Habibi in PWD. We ordered a BBQ platter which was quite wholesome. More than enough for a family of five. It was served piping hot in under 20 minutes with Qabli Pulao and three types of Seekh kebab, mutton roast, malai boti, fish tika, mutton ribs, chapal kebab, beef etc. The food was really tasty and we loved it. 
Kabuli or Afghani Pulao is a must have, even better than the original. BBQ is good, try their BBQ platter, their Branch in I sector Islamabad is the best.

Shanghai Bistro

I just love CHINESE food! If you’re bored of eating desi cuisine try Shanghai Bistro.Their ambiance is lovely and most importantly quality of food is just perfect. Talking about food they serve variety of chicken and beef dishes depending on what you want to order. The food I ordered was chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, beef with ginger and onion gravy, and spaghetti with meat balls. Chunks of crispy chicken was soaked in a zesty brown sauce. Chicken chowmein was stir fried with cabbage, onions and garden fresh vegetables. Spaghetti was cooked in sweet and sour sauce, diced celery, carrots topped with cashew nuts and garlic sauce….

YUM-YUM! Do try it out guys.

Des Pardes Restaurant

Good food and friendly staff, you can choose from variety of seating arrangements. Live music and lighting adds to the overall atmosphere. It also shows the culture of Pakistan (Paintings, truck art etc). Its a good place to take your foreign friends. 

Things to try:

Mughlai chicken curry: tender bihari kabab cooked in some sauce.

Shehanshai vegetable biryani: was surprisingly delicious, not an ordinary masala biryani. It has dry fruit, corn and other vegetables mixed in it. But do not confuse it with kabli pulao.

Raita: though a simple thing but was very fresh with vegetables in it.

It costed 2200 (22$) for two people and we had enough left to take home plus the food was yummy.

Over all experience was really very good...

Asian Wok

Best thing about this is they serve mint margaritas like proper drinks in starter and you can refill them as much as you want. After the food , they serve free complimentary green tea. Who does this? Asian Wok is simply my favorite Chinese/Thai restaurant where i can wait in queue to get in because food, ambiance and service is excellent here.

The food is served in good quantity and kept hot on lamps all the time. Menu is very rich and there is everything for everyone and all ages. If you are visiting Islamabad then its a must try thing.
Highly recommended to everyone!

Street Burger

A reputation which precedes any words that may be penned over this unusual delicacy is hard to follow up, and while waxing poetics is not one of my strong suites, I shall expend my linguistic prowess to try my best. Of course, the infamous charcoal burger of Street burger may seem like a disaster waiting to be slid into the trash at first sight, but it continues to stand as a delicious reality check of why books should never be judged by their covers. Do not let the crusty ashen exterior fool you into believing the inside will mirror the taste of burnt paper. The opposite, in fact. One bite punches right into the juxtaposition of spicy, sharp, and wet flavours packed in every inch of this hefty meal, making every rupee paid in it's rather expensive due worth it.

Hot Spot Haunted Hill

I love open and vast places. One of my favourite places to hangout with my friends and cousins is the hot-spot haunted hill. It is located in F-6/3, Islamabad. It’s an open air café/hangout spot which is made inside a park. The best thing about this café is its location. It is surrounded by the beautiful greenery of various trees and colourful flowers. The view is soothing and very pleasant. Perfect time to visit this place is in the summer and winter evenings. People come here for causal meet ups. One not only enjoys the view, but also has the option to munch on their favourite snacks. What more do you want? Lol. :P Coming towards their menu, they serve different snacks like curly fries, burgers, pancakes and a variety of beef and chicken sandwiches. They also serve various beverages like ice teas, coffees, seasonal juices, smoothies, slush, shakes and lemonades. They are famous for their sweet dishes like chocolate brownies, cheese cakes, nutella buttercakes, different kinds of puddings, cookies, pies and a lot more. So the other day I went their with my little sister and younger cousin and we ordered their special molten lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, my sister ordered chocolate mousse cake which was served with melted chocolate syrup and finally the last thing we ordered was gooey brownie with melted nutella (hot-spot's best seller). YUMM! If you are a sweet tooth like me and you are looking for yummy and mouth watering deserts, don't miss this one out!

Howdy Islamabad

Went for dinner. The table wasn’t clean, they’d removed the dishes but hadn’t wiped down the table. 

The food was overall delicious. Served hot and the quantity was good. The strawberry drink was really nice.

The curly fries were hot and delicious. 
They have a glass partition so u can see the food being prepared in the kitchen.
Howdy has been around for over a year, and its burgers upped the ante for our little town. Char-grilled, and served with a choice of dressings, they are sure to please. You can choose from beef, mutton(yes!), and chicken. Generous sized patties, and if you are Hungry, get the double patty burger. Nice indoor, as well as outdoor seating, the Cowboy themed place is best late afternoon, that way you miss the noisy dinner crowd. One gripe, is the loud thumping canned music. However if you ask them to, they will play a mellow selection, or failing that, turn down the volume.
Will definitely recommend to all.

Nando’s

Nando’s is an Afro-Portuguese chain restaurant serving flame-grilled chicken in spicy chilli sauce. Why is Flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken so popular? Simple answer is it’s mouth-watering, appetizing & tasty. I love spicy food, love it. So guys if you’re a spicy food lover like me, I would recommend all of you to tryout peri peri chicken. Peri-Peri chicken breast is served on garlic bread or bun of your choice and topped with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onions and PERi-PERi mayo. Served with some crispy fries YUM! & don’t forget to order chilled mint margarita just in case to cool down your taste buds because it’s gonna be too spicy. ;)
